Usual opening hours are 10am - 10 pm Mon-Sun, but may vary depending on the city or area.

Local shops and newsagents are usually open between 7am and 6pm Mon-Fri, untill 2pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.

If you need basic products late night the best choice are petrol stations, which are usually open 24/7.

Bank Cards

All major credit cards (ex. VISA, Mastercard, American Express) and debit cards are widely accepted in Poland, hovewer in newsagent?s kiosks, local shops or smaller towns and villages you still need to have cash on you. Credit cards are necessary for some of services, for example car rental.

In case of lost/stolen card you should contact Authorisation Department of  Polcard  0048 22 515 30 00 as soon as possible.

Cigarettes: 10 PLN

Water 1.5l: 2-3 PLN

One course meal in restaurant: 50 PLN
